A complete walkthrough of SCIMAP for QGIS, which maps the sources of diffuse pollution and floodwater in a catchment. In 13 chapters, we install SCIMAP Toolkit from QGIS’s Plugin Manager, delineate a catchment on the upper River Eden in Cumbria, set land cover risk weights, map sediment and seasonal FIO risk, read the results and share them as a web dashboard. Then we identify floodwater sources, calibrate the weights to Environment Agency diatom data with SCIMAP Fitted, and go beyond the panel with batches and models.
