The SCIMAP QGIS plugin has been updated to version 1.7. This version includes:
- Catchment delimitation based on a pour point. Create the pour point by clicking on the map; you can then use the catchment polygon to clip the input datasets.
- Three SCIMAP tools: Sediment, FIO and Flood. You can develop a set of different opportunity maps and then identify locations where one mitigation measure can provide multiple benefits.
- The SCIMAP Fitted workflow. This process calibrates the land cover weights to observed in-stream sediment, nutrient levels, or ecological impacts. This gives greater confidence in the source mapping for your catchment.
- Export a web dashboard of the results for simple sharing with collaborators. There are web maps, an overview report and simple access to the output files.
- You can update the plugin within QGIS using the Manage Plugins dialogue box.
